checkpicTHOMASVILLE, NC — It was a sweet end to the night in Daytona. Jeff Green driver of the #17 Carport Empire Toyota Camry was able to bring home a 7th place finish after a multitude of multicar wrecks.

Along with the great finish, primary sponsor of Rick Ware Racing (RWR), Carport Empire, has partnered with the McIntosh Foundation to donate $5,000 to Gateway Academy to help transform the lives of even more young men in the Teen Challenge program.

Gateway Academy is a fifteen month boarding school for young men with disruptive behaviors. The goal of Gateway Academy is to work with families to help their sons find transformation and direction for life through three focus areas. These focus areas consist of discipline, biblical counseling, and education.

With the help of Carport Empire and the McIntosh Foundation, Gateway Academy will be able to grow their program and help shape more lives of troubled young men.
